Buses run hourly from the airport to the bus station in Playa de Las Americas.. For getting around, taxis on the island are relatively cheap at about 1 for 3 kilometers (2 miles), and there is also a bus network which services most of the main sites of interest. Bus Cards cost 12 and can be used for most journeys on the island. This method costs less than paying the driver in cash each time.
